After having our b’fast, we walked down to the harbour. Today plan was supposed to be taking the Barbary for cruising around Lake Taupo. Unfortunately, when we reached the ticket office, the lady told us that due to the bad weather condition, I guess is the strong wind, every cruise is not able to be carried out. So disappointed! The cruise is one of the famous activities to be done at Lake Taupo. Sob sob…I miss the chance to see the Maori Rock Carving…
We have no other choice but to walk back to i-site to get back our refund..sigh…bad weather...On the way back ,we passed by Taupo Rose Garden, so we just popped in.

Well, the roses wasn’t in good condition as well…Mainly of them not in full bloom...Just a few yellow and red roses blooming happily in the whole garden. Sad case.. Next to the roses garden, it was the Lake Taupo Musuem & Art Gallery. We went into it, but just have a look on the souvenirs it sold. We dint went into the gallery coz we think that its not worth it by paying 5 dollars. I found this cute sheep doll at the gallery.
After taking few pics in front of the museum, we headed back to i-site.

I went into to get our refund back. Wyne posing with a Maori sculpture while I am doing so. It stated at the bottom that “ Please touch me, it keep my spirit alive”.
Next, we have nothing to do. We went to the Creative Cafe, a ceramic art shop at the Marama Arcade. The shop has lots of ceramic plaster stuff waiting for us to paint colour on it. It was not cheap though and we feel that we could found this kind of shop in M’sia, so we went off. Instead, we went into Robert Harris Café. We heard from Jason that it was famous of its Iced Blended Chocolate Coffee. So, with high spirit, we went into to try this cool drink. I get myself a slice of cake as well to supplement the delicious drink. Robert Harris Café was famous of its fresh food and world class coffee. Its coffee is distinguished for its own Kiwi blend. Well, the iced choc truly taste like heaven! You will wish to drink for a second cup after the first try…hehe
After our coffee luxury, Elun & Py decided to go sky dive while WYne & I were not bold enough to try it out yet. So we went shopping around the area. We went into Pagani, our farvourite fashion shop. Hehehe Being bored, I tried out this two dresses…wahaha

Due to the bad weather, Py & Elun’s plan for sky dive has been cancelled. So they return back. Looking into their face, I could sense the disappointment for both of them. They did not give up, they decided to try to make it tomorrow instead. Hope their dreams come true! We continued walking around the place.

We went to Just Jeans, Py & I bought a same knit type shirt…hehe Then, we moved on to Postie , a teddy bear shop and few souvenir shops.

Without realizing, we walked till the end of street and there in front of us is Mc Café. Since when McD has a café? Hehe It also has a big airplane just beside the Mc Café. Special indeed! We were tired walking, so we went in. I get myself a hot chocolate and a medium fries, Wyne ordered a muffin while Poh Yee ordered a tropical cheesecake.
Next Wyne & I went to Kiwi Kids to get some cute souvenirs…hehe
Around 6pm, as the sky is getting darker, we started to head for dinner. Hmm…it was a hard task to choose what to eat… We went into Eurasia, a small restaurant served European & Asian foods. There are many Asian foods and snacks that we have long untouched, like the wantan, egg fu ying, wa ta hor and etc… I ordered one of the chef’s specialties: Pork with Garlic Brown Sauce.Wyne, Py & Elun get themselves some small side, the banana chicken. Well, my dish was medium large in quantity, taste not bad…still satisfied…hehe
