YiJia & Yee Fang's viSiTinG~

Las sat, yi jia n yee fang came over to Wellington for a very short visit…
Just 1 day 1 night…apa perempuan ni? Haha
So we wanna make full use of the time the best as v could…
Saturday nite, me n wyne went over to Wakefield st., just opposite duxton Hotel bus stop to welcome them around 8pm. That night, me n wyne intend to prepare a welcoming dinner for them.. So around 6pm, v started our preparation…Menu of the night : Curry sotong + vege +sweet navel orange juice + kumara dessert =)

Thankfully, 1st time my Curry sotong turned out to be good =) n dinner is managed to be prepared on time…

Weather was good. In sudden it dint turn out to be raining for the night..
So although there was a delay of the arrival of the bus, Wyne & I still ok with that…
Around 8.30pm, their bus finally arrived…
Weehee~ so hapi to meet them again!
But v missed the bus no.23 back home…
So we went over to New World to get some fries n chips to supplement our dinner before taking a cab back home…

All of us feel so fattening after eating so much for dinner n dessert! But we were all happy... after turning into our pyjamas wear, all of us hav a gal talk throughout the night till 3am in the morning till then four of us finally went to sleep in 2 beds…well, that shows that we are all skinny gals! Wahhaha =p

The nex day, around 10am, we started depart fr my hse heading to kelburn bus stop to get a bus down to city. We managed to show them our uni main campus n the Marae…after taking a few pics, we still managed to hav some shots before the bus came..

Down to city…
Left the luggages at Poh yee’s room…
Then all of us heading to Regal restaurant for our yum cha session.
Probably its Sunday, so Regal is packed with lotsa people especially big families…
Luckily I booked it earlier, so together with wei jiet, 6 of us managed to get seats on a small table unfortunately…

One good thing about dim sum session is they served relatively quickly where u don’t hav to wait for time taking order n food to be cooked..

well well...Our dim sum mainly includes:

虾饺+烧卖+叉烧包

排骨+ 白粥 + 油条

炸SOTONG + 红豆沙 mua-chi + 波罗包

水饺 (dumpling)

糯米鸡+ 叉烧猪肠粉

炸虾 + 猪肉餐包

蛋塔 (egg tart )+ Portugese tart

Carrot cake 萝卜糕 + 香脆芋头酥

药材鸡 + Mua-chi 包花生 & 椰丝….

there are so many more small dish available but we are too full after eating these…;P

Miss these food so much! Hav to eat more when I go bck to m’sia…

Although some food are abit tasteless…well we were all satisfy, it cost about 16 dollar each of us for this morning yum cha session…

Next, we brought yijia & yee fang to oriental bay for a walk…As it’s a Sunny weather, a lot of ppl could be seen along the bay…Its so summer-ish! Hehehe where evy1 with their sunglasses on ;)

After oriental bay walk, we went over to Tepapa museum… Hav quite fun time looking around n playing around with the new exhibits…

Next,we went to Civic Square…then to Parliament Building… thankfully elun came along that managed to hav a few snapshot with his DSL camera..;)

Since its still quite early, we pop by pipitea campus to hav alook … then v decided to do some stupid jump in front of the green board..haha

Next, we heading to the railway station as a las stop.. okay...4 sopor tot they could go into the magical world like harry potter do...hehehe

Anyway...good try...hahaha XP we hav a formal group pic...

After that, we decided to hav early dinner at Oriental Kingdom at Cuba St.

My dinner , nyonya chicken..not said to be very nice...but so-so...:S

When we passed by Manners St., Yi jia suggested that we went to Timezone for photo sticker shooting! So there we go…
Fortunately, it still turn out to be quite good with so many of us! good squeezing skill ;P


After dinner, wyne & I send yi jia n yee fang to Willbank court bus stop to wait for Airport Flyer…
So fast, Sunday has come to an end…sigh
Monday gonna goin into the 2nd wk of the sem…n they are heading back to Perth too..
Jia & Yfang, hope u two enjoy ur stay at welly ya!
Hope to see u gals again! Probably end of the year back in m’sia?
