Raya Celebration Part2

I was supposed to update this long ago...but i was really tied up with all sort of works n finals...finally I hav my 1st paper yday n i grant myself a 2 days break b4 i start study for my nex n las paper..woohoo! 302 was not that tough, but i was kinda disappointed since I knew the answer for my case study but I dont hav the time to finish all that. Well, I know i can do better. I knew I hav to do better since I almost fail my 2nd test. But since its over, ntg much can be done..just hope for the best;) seriously HOPE pls dont make me disappointed again ;p

Just to share some of the pics I took during the Raya Week.

My fifth Raya Open Hse: Stafford Hall ;)

The specialties : Ketupat, Nasi Beriyani & Ayam Masak Merah

Besides the main course, there was another table full of side dishes like curry puff & spring roll.

Not to miss out, the huge varieties of cookies n cakess + bandung +cincau...yum yum;)

Sincere thanks to the stafford Peeps who hav done a good job preparing all those yum yum foods;) credits should be given to Vivi & Ali who has exam coming up but still bz cooking for 1 whole day just for this open hse...Thanks to ALL!

After having a filling brunch at Stafford, I was invited to another one at Everton Hall..this was for my late lunch n early dinner perhaps;p

There were delicious mihun soup n rendang served, since my stomach not allow me to fit much more so I just tried out the desserts instead ;p there were roti pudding, kek batik, choc ball, choc cakes, yummy cookies, jelly...I feel so Contented. Sweet.FULL! haha

Here comes the 'finale' for the raya OPen Hse, the one held at High Comm. It was really a grand one. this yr Aunty has invited students from Massey n other uni as well... Just the welly students itself hav make the Dewan Raya Packed, now plus with evyone from all over. Wow~ it was really ALot More Packed! hahaha but the more the meriah, that was the spirit isnt it? It makes me think of chinese new year somehow..

Dewan Raya was nicely decorated;) very in raya atmosphere.. since we wanted to accomodate more ppl, so no chair for the day ;)

To share the joy, I choose to wear my baju raya ;) although it was not a new one but it was still good after all this yr. believe it onot...this kurung was from my mum..haha;)

This yr, i brought a bunch of my good buddies along;) I believe they hav enjoy themselves too;)

This yr food was catered from Istana Malaysia. We had nasi beriyani, mee goreng n crispy fried chicken. The chicken taste really good! But i think las yr food lagi best..haha

The "sweeteners" which consists of varieties of kuih-muih n my fav pandan cake!

But I m glad that everyone has been dress up in their colourful costume & I believe evy1 had a great Raya Celebration. Simply Wonderful;)

Sincere thanks to evy single host who hav gv me the pleasure to enjoy all the yum yum Raya feast;) It was not like in Nz, I feel like I was in Malaysia :D Although i need to hav some weight watcher soon, but I hav a great Raya celebration this yr! Much Appreciated.=)))

The preparation of WYne Bday Surprise!

It just happened yday. Me, Kelvin, Ting Fang, Jospeh & Ck hav decided to go to Ck hse for preparation of wyne bday surprise!

At 1st we thought we could start our mission after 3.30pm claz, but we could only access Ck hse after 5pm since his hsemate dont allow any disturbance when he was conducting piano lesson. So, we just went over to Matterhorn Cafe to hav coffee n some chit-chat talk..:)

Mission starts around 6pm.Our mission is to bake 20 cupcakes since its wyne 20th Bday. SO the ingredients goes like this...

the instant mixing powder n icing powder which i bought from new world 2days bck. I brought the baking tray down on fri to ck hse without wyne's notice...wahahhaXD

At Ck hse...we were bz adding, mixing n baking.....

1st batch of 12 was not really satisfactory but the 2nd batch was much beetter!

we were all very excited....so v hav some short video clips especially for wyne!

It was about 8pm after v hav done almost evythg. We were so hungry by then. SO me,ck,kelvin n ting fang went for dinner at KK M'sian restaurant.

The sUrPrise!!!!!!

I reached home around 10pm, after I walked into the room, I switched off the light instantly while kelvin n all bring up the cupcakes into...the most surprising thing will be The 3guys-kelvin,ck & joseph wanted to dress up in formal suit while Elun has his apparatus on..wearing a wig together with a spec...wah VeRy FuNNy la!

Feel touched? No. Although she dint shed her tearsXP, but
Yay! MISSION is ACCOMPLISHED!

Raya Celebration Part1

I m well fed by this raya festive season. Even though I was not in m'sia, but I totally could feel the Hari Raya heat at welly. I felt so thankful for getting so many Raya Open Hse invitations this yr ;) I feel a sense of guilt since I hav been eating so much these days...gosh gosh...i think i gain...but u know...its once a yr! ahaks;p

*attention: pls bear with me readers, there will be lots Yummy Food Pics posted up,so if u r on diet, i suggest u not to read...haha:P

My 1st Raya Open Hse invi is from Daz. We hav this potluck style dinner at Daz's Sirocco Apt.

so this is my 1st raya meal;p there was pizza, fried rice+ chic (sedap sedap!), curry chic, ketupat plus with some kuih & kek batik...all yummy!

Many were there.all in a joyous spirit, its was just the same when I was in CNY season...hehe

Lon-tong(hope i got it right)+ ketupat+ spicy ikan bilis, curry noodle....

Ketupat + peanut gravy + Lemang + Ikan Bilis curry

There were lots of cookies as well ;D some were posted from M'sia! there were pineapple tarts, butter peanut cookies, choc chips, butter sugar square, cornflakes & tiramisu! I feel so blessed!

Lets See...evy1 is bz makan-ing & enjoying...haha

3rd stop ==>Farah Mexx's Hse, Maurice Tce. Oo...makan lagi..haha They served nasi beriyani with chic rendang, nasi kerabu, ketupat, acar, kuzi and some cakes+ cookies! the nasi taste really good! hehe

4th Raya Invi was from Ili. I met her randomly on fri when I was at New World and it was so sweet of her for inviting me over. When I arrived at her apt, my stomach cant really fit anymore after so much of eating for the day. So I just tried out the side dishes instead of the main course which consist of soto n ketupat.
There were variety of cookies n kuih muih to choose from...seriously alot..the roti pudding, pandan kek, the banana cake, kek batik n unique choc, butter,peanut cookies to eat! when it comes to dessert, i admit I cant resist, so i did managed to try some! hehehe
thank you so much To ili, Hazel & the gals! I like ur hse with such good view n such big bathroom XD n I love the food for sure!
Thank you so much to All for the invitations. Hav been so fulfilling;) I m blessed that I hav a wonderful Raya celebration=))

Nope. Don’t wish ever happen to me.

When I hope for stg very long n I work hard to get end up I didn’t get it.

Oh I will no longer be a young lady. Will be more matured(hope so..hehe). Can no longer take things emotionally n irrationally. Hope by the time I already hav someone in love ;p

I want to have a fun & happy long Long (seriously LONG) break. I wan no more for any tests,assignments,worries, troubles n sadness over me…

Oh IYnas! Sweet & Strong gurl who could take most of the thing most of the time. Can be very fun n outgoing. Like to eat cream cheese bagel with hot chocolate ;p caring n considerate. So sweet of fetching me bck home even its midnight:)) Sometimes v just hav the same common feelings kan kan? hehe

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?
With lots of wealth but no one to love to is such pathetic. Feel the love is important(I think…) Married but poor will be my choice. Although its poor, as long as u r happy n contented is far beyond enough. Still stay healthy is alwiz the biggest asset.

15. What's the first thing you do when you wake up?
Check the weather. Shower. Bfast in front of the laptop.

16. Do you miss someone right now?(change to this==>) Would you give all in a relationship?
Yes. I will. U see…love is blind;p

I will pick the most loyal one. of coz will be the one who suits me the most. The one that can go thru the bitterness n sweetness with me all the way ;D

Can never forget. Took me quite a long while to forgive. But forgive is alwiz easy than forget, to me ;p

19. Do you prefer being single or having a relationship?
I alwiz want the opposite when I m in one of it.LOL being single promise much more freedom, having a relationship is equal to sweetness…Since now I m single, I will be hoping that I m in a relationship:P
