Auckland Trip- Day3

*** AUCKLAND TRIP - DAY 3 ***
Again in the morning, we hav a wonderful bfast at Sarah’s accom=)
Today was pretty sad…coz we moving out to backpackers tonight…afterall need Sarah to study…pity her…her eyes was swollen n she need to study for her coming exam..no more play for her in this few wks time…
After breakkie, wyne & I decided to hav a random walk today…which means we will stop wherever our feet bring us to…=)
At Sarah’s accom.. NICE place!

Our aim for 2day is to go Auckland Sky Tower…heard its good!

Can u see the sky tower from far?

Walking down the street, heading to Aotea Square…

Some of the beautiful archi...buildings...

Pass by Sky City Cinema…looks huge..but indeed its big! Hahaha

Popped into the cinema…good place to hang out.. looks similar to time square …hehe
N v like the lift =))

This pic is taken at the toilet…haha I know its stupid!

Cant escape shopping…so v went into the mall around queen st…
I bought a lovely sandal…look nice huh? Hehe while wyne bought a pair of boots n a dress…in a instant, she put on her new clothes…hehe fast le?
Next next, v heading to the sky tower…The sky tower, stands at its 328m tall, is the tallest tower in the southern hemisphere, taller than the Eiffel Tower at France and The Sydney Tower at Australia.

Its almost like the KL Tower where we can have the 360 degree views over Auckland City. We took the first lift which bring us up 186 metres above the city to the main observation level. Indeed, fantastic view overlook city…the most fantastic part is where you can stand on the glass floor panels and look straight down to the street below…Look at the 38mm thick glass floor, u think u don’t feel the tension but the moment u stand on it…I tell u its very nerve-breaking…I just wonder how those small kids and adults could lied on that transparent glass just like dat without any fear…I respect! Hehe

Don’t u feel that I m afraid? Haha scared oso hav to snap pics rite!

There are some of the breathtaking view I have taken on the deck…
Especially one of the famous Auckland landmark, the Harbour Bridge could be seen from the main deck too….

Next, we proceed further to a more advanced level to 220m metres above the city to the Skydeck Viewing Platform. Well, we feel cheated coz we hav almost the same view here as at the main deck but v pay extra more to get to this level.. Perhaps just more clearly view? Maybe..hehe

There are quite a lot of adventurous activities like the Sky Jump and the 360 degree sky walk which I do not hav the courage yet to try…n casino is at the 2nd lvl, but wyne still cant go in, so no point I go in as well…so basically, after we are bored with views, we decided to return to Sarah’s accom.

Sarah was bz with her study as usual… but we insisted to take a few snapshots b4 we goin to our backpackers at Fort St.

After packing n resting, thanks to Sarah’s RA who are willing to fetch us to the backpackers. Sweet of him ^^ & oh this m’sian mixed jap is not bad looking! Haha too bad la…dun hav his pic…

Our backpackers..the Nomad Fat Camel, still ok ok la… We are staying at a mixed dorm with some other travelers around. Well…condition overall not too bad…at least got free dinner..ha but just a small portion la…
After eating that so called dinner, we two went ahead for course meal. V stopped at Char Grill Kebab, hav our yummy yummy Lamb kebab…

After dinner, standing the cold, we decided to explore around the city. We walked up around the sky city to hav a look how sky tower will be at night. Sky tower doesn’t really look good at night with its red light shown upon it…

But Fabulous sky city night view can be seen from the Sky Tower! ( pics I grabbed from Merlin)

We went into the sky tower since v hav ntg to do....
V took a few photo of it then straight went off to explore another place. Next stop we went to St Matthew church ..haha don’t ask me why we went into the church..since the church is not close yet, so we just went into…okay, quite a lame reason I know…
So just masuk n taken a few pics.. looking at those interior design n roof, our ms wyne hav commented the church is gothic style…wat else can be said…architecture student ma;)

Next stop is our yum cha session. So we just hoped into MoMo Tea café just to try on its bubble tea n hav sum side dish…
Our mango pudding bubble tea and sum spicy side dish…=)
That’s put the end for the day 3!
