****Auckland Trip - DAY 2 ****
yo yo...the next day, in the morning, sarah asked us to follow her to b'fast down the dining hall at her accom... at 1st we two are reluctant, but still just follow...when i get there~ oh gosh i din know there are so many foods to choose from, begin with white bread, toast bread, croissant, sausages, scramble eggs, fruits n yoghurt, few types of cereals, milk n lots hot drinks and juices..really COOL! n u can top up as many times as u can eat! My normal b'fast normally just 2 slices of bread with a cup of milo..but this kind of serving is just like the hotel b'fast menu...probably this is the best part of staying at catered hall ;)
For me, i just hav my fav croissant spread with butter + cereal of coco pops+ a cup of mochaccino while wyne get croissant + sausages + fruits...i guess wyne is pretty good at 'utilising' the free top up service till the maximum...dun undermind her, she could takes almost all the foods served at that morning O_o
2day plan is to go a temple at East Tamaki. No appearance of any temple at Wellington, its been quite a hard time for me sometimes especially when u need spiritual heeling~ lol Since i m at auckland, i told sarah i mz go there! hehe that is so sweet of her to take the initiative to find out the way and transport to get to the temple. She printed out a copy of the bus route. One thing is good at NZ is they hav really good transport system where u can search thru the website about the places u wanna go n they will show u all the route, the bus number as well as the time where the bus reach those related bus stop. N most important thing is they are punctual=) not like M'sia, looking at the bus timetable is useless coz all this bus driver nvr follow the rules! their clock is alwiz an hr or 2 hr late!
After b'fast, Wyne & I walked up along Symond St. to get to the bus stop. On the way there, we passed by a building which looks like lego at the road side...when see it more clearly, v found out that its a public toilet...hahhaWhile walking up along the way, we dont see just one bus stop, but we saw a fleet of bus stop..n v r lost...dunno which bus stop we shud be waiting for bus...so v keep on walking, walking...n v decided to ask passer by for instructions..haha he looked at our paper n pointed to us which bus stop we should be goin.. oh...n i found stg interesting just next to every bus stop...there will be a electronic board showing which bus is coming....fantastic rite?
In the bus....in the bus...;p
V stopped at botany at about 11.30am before v take another bus to fo guang shan temple.
Just in a short while, v arrived at Stancombe Road around 11.45am. Both of us were really excited about how big the temple will be..
There we are, after a few minutes walking distance, we arrived FGS auckland! woohoo~ finally i m here.. i m longing to come here since las yr, n now i m standing right in front of the gate=)))
Despite occasionally shower n wind, we will not miss the chance of snapping every corner of the temple=)
a huge roundabout in front of the main entrance of the temple~ can u imagine how big it is?
At the main entrance~
Heading to the main shrine hall... we stood in awe when v see this spacious courtyard in front of us!
Amazing isnt it? well...somehow it looks like those architecture at china..haha

entering the main shrine hall...we are welcomed by huge gold Buddha statue..a very solemn atmosphere...we went in ...hav our prayer n get some candle light n joss stick lid on...hoping the brand new year be blessed with good wishes;)))
After finish with our prayer, we went out to the garden...cant resist to snap every corner of the beautiful scene....

After we hav done with almost evythg, we bid farewell to the temple. But when we reach the bus stop for bus, we was shocked that the next bus will be coming in about an hour time... there is no shed nor a proper bus stop to let us wait....strong wind just came in the same time..v were freezing n squating just right beside the road waiting for bus...pity us...
Finally when it comes to dinner time which is about 7pm, we decided to meet up with most ex-intec ppl for dinner! Me n wyne waited at the Langham hotel right on time, but no one appear till about half an hour later....

Slowly, ppl starting to appear...oh gosh, chao tung! i hardly recognise him with his long hair...when he 1st walked to me n said hello, i was so...stunned for few seconds...hardly recognise him...then in a sudden i realise its chao tung! hahahaha=) been ages i dint meet him...

That restaurant is not big, but has a cosy atmosphere...i think the waiter abit shocked when he saw a big batch of us went into...haha
