Update for the wk!

Its been a long time since i m updating my current situation...

well...weather turning cold these days..temperature has been around 10 - 15 celcius.. freaking cold..this is torturing especially early in the morning i hav to get out of my duvet so UNIWILLINGLY to get to uni...

Although accy 231 assign has been postponed, which somehow make me hapi a little while...;) this wk i guess i hav been skipping quite alot of lectures.. * i know wan ling wanna comment stg on it..ahaha reason being so is I hav to went to different venues to hav a look n pick the best choice for the coming Bersatu Games...see...i m putting commitment=p hahaha There are 2 venues i pay a visit too...1st is the proposed Horticultural Hall at LOwer Hutt.. Nvr judge a book by its cover... Before goin in, the hall looks ok but after goin in, ohh..it is big...acceptable.. can fit 5 badminton courts... but the facilities..humm.. especially the lighting...its not adequate enough for our closing dinner particularly minister of higher edu is coming to this dinner...although decoration can make a difference but still... v r ady working under budget, i guess spending on decoration alone is far beyond budget... All of us get so disappointed after the 1st visit...=(

Next venue we went to is the Westpac Stadium, the coolest rugby stadium...This place is so much different from the previous one..seriously DIFFERENT! n better! V went to visit the Deloitte Galery which can fit almost 1000 ppl. Up there, we could hav a fabulous view of the whole stadium...the professional service n all the service provided by Westpac is so much better...Its presentable=) i guess evy1 will be vowed by that place...V love the stadium so so much!

Oh las fri me n wyne managed to bake a cheesecake! wahhaha=D so proud of myself... even my mum was like.." oh u know how to bake ke?" coz v nvr bake a cake back in m'sia! haha I got this recipe from Sze Cheen.. she told me it was pretty easy since v just mixed all the ingredients into and bake it! Plus it didnt require any electronic mixer..i m st using my hand to beat the cream cheese n egg till fluffy...weehee~ I let some of roomates & frenz to taste it,

the feedback i got thankfully is a good one...Oops, sori la to wan ling's hsemate especially Amirah who like cheesecake so much ;p...I intended to bake to u all, tapi coz of the vanilla essence punya pasal...=( I promise to bake next time ok? hehehe

Attended aik win's grad on las thurs...It's held at Micheal Fowler Center.Such a great place to host the graduation ceremony=) It has always been the tradition for Vic graduates to hav their parade starting from the Law School to Civic Square. I could feel the joyous moment of the grads when they are walking along the street with their robes respectively... The entire uni life & the hardwork these grad had put in had made this ceremony a touching n awesome one;) cant really imagine that I m the one doing that nex yr =))) Happy graduation, aik win! Congratz for getting 1st claz honours=)

Auckland Trip - Day4

******* AUCKLAND TRIP - DAY 4 *******

Dress Smart Day
We went to Bitromart station to ask for more details about the free shuttle bus to Dress Smart Outlet shopping centre. Disappointedly, the person at the ticketing counter has no idea where to take the free shuttle. Instead v phoned to Dress Smart… There are a few stops for that, but I just knew the Queen St, Sky City and Langham Hotel…all other names I m not familiar…but all these 3 places are quite far… I guess by the time v reach there, v miss the shuttle... At 1st , we decided to run to Queen st, but on the way, wyne asked me how the bus looks like, just at that moment, I saw a shuttle with dress smart sign stopping in front of the traffic light. I shouted to wyne “that is!”. At that moment, v thinking where the bus gonna stop next, then we decided to run opposite the road again. Then we saw the Mercure Hotel in front of us..phew~ luckly us…thinking bck, we just cross the road with really dangerous condition…v just dun care =p

Before we start our shopping spree for that day, we went to BB’s café for bfast. Each of us get a free muffin once we buy a coffee with the coupon v got it inside the Jason’s book.. we hav a yummy yummy bfast under the sun!=)

After breakkie, we started our shopping with Esprit, wyne’s favourite retail shop… there are a lot of sales goin on, just that the stocks might not have the size u wanted. Wyne been trying a lot of clothes, pants, bags…while as I was not really a big fan for Esprit, so I just tried on a few tops… while the most satisfactory is this one:

but price bit too costly just for a top like dat, so dint get it..whereas WYne has a great bargain at Esprit !!! while i hav ntg to do but wait for wyne, i decided to cam-whoring in the fitting room...>.<

Next we make our way to Roxy! Weheee~ I got a hat for myself..hehehe

Next, we move on to Just Jeans, Lippy, Amazon, Nike, Portmans, Fila and a few more…dint really get anythg..kinda disappointed really …haha but I managed to get a Nike surf pants for my bro while Wyne purchased a nike bag for her bro too!

We went to Converse and saw a lot of baby sport shoes, really cute ! the shoes are so tiny! Small small…cute cute! Hahaha the price is not really exp, but no point of buying it, so v will just snap a pic of that!

Wyne was bz hunting for more clothes, while I .....hehe

Then, she cant resist...so v just hav some self-shooting la.hahaha

Time passed really fast! Soon enough, its about 4.30pm and v need to catch the 4.45pm last shuttle back to the city. Unwillingly, we get on the shuttle on 4.40pm, saying goodbye to Dress Smart Onehunga! Since its early, we 1st go back to the Umaiya, the jap restaurant we dine on the 2nd day coz wyne left her shopping bags there…When we get there, adoi…restaurant belum buka…so we went to the nearest $1,2,3 shop jalan jalan…

After grab those stuff, we are hungry…so v intend to find Korean food since many ppl said that go Auckland mz eat Korean food… So v just randomly walk, hoping Korean food restaurant will appear…ha…v got into the right street, the whole st is full of Korean restaurant…v hav no idea which one is good, so v just went in one of it…n order a set of chicken meal..hmm taste not bad beside the kim chi which I still think it taste weird…
I believe that day v gonna hav eating marathon! Next up, wyne suggest to go try Korean pancake at Lorne St, which Sarah also recommended…so v walked there n v two ordered a red bean pancake n chicken cheese pancake respectively… We went into Sky City cinemas to hav our pancake…


Hanging around there for a while, we decided to lepak lepak along the queen st. Since its late, no more shops open, whole st was quiet, cold n dark…quite similar to wellington night time… we just walked…with no direction…then v found a jap shop still open with sushi selling cheap… this 4 role of sushi only cost 5 dollar, can u imagine that? Its so so cheap …y y y wellington’s sushi so expensive? Sigh
Since its so cheap, we just bought one packet of it back to our backpackers for supper…hehe ^^ Oh my god! I can’t imagine how much weight I m goin to gain from 2day eating pattern…WYne geng la..still can eat the free dinner provided by the backpackers. 2day serving is spaghetti with cheese sauce but I dint eat coz I feel that I hav been eating too much for the day…

After wyne was done, we decided to went to Bitromart Station. Wanna see how the bus stop look likes at night, must be nice. As expected, the building looks nice n advanced, make me think of KL central since they shared the same purpose as transport interchanging centre=) v hav our sushi there as well ;)
